Sister Paulina Yang makes First Vows

Meet Sister Paulina Yang Yoon Jeong professed as a Columban Sister last 3rd October 2013. Great joy was shared in the Columban Sisters Central House in Seoul, South Korea,when Yang Yoon Jeong, Paulina, made her First Profession of Vows in the company of her parents, brother, sisters, family members,  Columban Fathers and Seminarians and the Columban Sisters Community.

The Celebrant of the Profession Mass was Columban Father Donal O’Keeffe, Director of the Columban Fathers, South Korea. Sister Nora Wiseman, as Delegate of the Congregational Leader, received Sister Paulina’s Vows.

Paulina is presently missioned in the Philippines.

During the Profession Mass, Sister Paulina presented herself to the Lord before the altar. Her father reads the 1st Reading of the Mass  Phil:3.12. Right, Columban Sister and Seminarian musicians.  

Paulina makes her request to Sr Nora Wiseman, delegate of the Congregational Leader, then signs her Vows as a Columban Sister. Her father and mother bring the gift to the altar assenting to Paulina’s choice of Columban Missionary Religious Life.                        

                The Columban Sisters present come forward to offer their congratulations to Paulina. Paulina addresses the congregation, then joins her father and mother for a special photo.
