Srs. Julietta Choi and Bernadette Lee made Final Profession on the 18th of June at Don-Am Parish beside our Convent in Seoul. It was a great day filled with joy and gratitude.
Bishop Chung Soon Taick Petrus presided at the ceremony and over 20 priests concelebrated the Mass. Bishop Chung gave a good introduction and a brief history of the Columban Sisters. He also shared his impression of the cemetery ministry in which Julietta and Bernadette are involved. Sr. Ann Gray also delivered a beautiful and meaningful homily. Sr. Ann Rita, their accompanying person came to attend the ceremony as a representative from the Philippines.
The church was packed with almost three hundred people. Bella’s parents, Julie’s mother, families, friends, benefactors and parishioners were there to share the great joy with Julie and Bella.

The meal was served in our garden. The weather was just right for the outdoor celebration. Bishop Chung, Columban Sisters, Columban fathers, families, and friends enjoyed the meal and conversation after the ceremony. Bella’s parents, Julie’s mother and Ann Gray joined the two Sisters to cut the cake. We are grateful to God for a wonderful day of celebration!
A very sincere thank you to all of you who were united with us in prayer during very special day for all of us in the Congregation.
