The spirit of the Oak is deep within our collective memory. It asks us to listen to the sound of the wind so we can hear the voice of the divine within us and around us.

Reflection:

God of the Universe, you made the heavens and the earth, so we do not call our home merely “earthly planet”. We call it your creation, a divine mystery, a gift from your most blessed hand. The world itself is your miracle.

Upon this tree, may your stars rain down their blessed dust. May we all be blessed with rain and sunshine. Grant us humility that we may become more human and mend our rift from your creation. May we know the sacredness of the gift of life and truly experience life from your hand.

You planted humanity and began our resurrection in a garden. Our blessed memory and hope, therefore, lie in a garden.

Thanks be to God Who created the world teeming with life on earth, above earth, and beneath earth. We rejoice in the magnitude of Your generosity and mystery.
