Sister Amy renews her vows during the Mass
…and, as is customary in Korea, the Jubilee Cake is cut at the end of the Mass and Amy’s former nurisng students join in this.

In the company of many former nursing students and Columban Sisters and Fathers, Sister Amy Baybay enjoyed a very joyful Golden Jubilee Day in the place where she had worked for many years before retiring to the USA.
Fr Denis Monaghan SSC was the chief celebrant. Concelebrants were were from the Philippines, Korea, USA and Ireland.
The Homily was given by Sr Nora Wiseman who wove together the Readings of the Mass at the same time including some of the highlights of Amy’s time in ministry in Korea
After Mass, there were refreshments and entertainment. The latter being provided by the children of some of Amy’s friends from Korea and overseas.
