DIWALI – FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

DIWALI – FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS.

All the lights of the world cannot be compared even to a ray of the inner light of the self. Merge yourself in this light and enjoy the festival of lights.

Let’s celebrate the festival in the true sense by spreading joy and light up the world of others. Have a happy, safe, and blessed Diwali!  This year was tough, spend Diwali safely so that we can have a better 2021!

Diwali is the festival of lights, usually lasting five days and celebrated during the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika (between mid-October and mid-November). One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance”. The festival is widely associated with Lakshmi, goddess of prosperity.

In the lead-up to Diwali, celebrants will prepare by cleaning, renovating, and decorating their homes and workplaces with diyas (oil lamps) and rangolis. During Diwali, people wear their finest clothes, illuminate the interior and exterior of their homes with diyas and rangoli, perform worship ceremonies of Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and wealth, light fireworks, and partake in family feasts, where mithai and gifts are shared. Diwali is also a major cultural event for the Hindu and diaspora from the subcontinent.

Wish you are blessed with peace, prosperity, happiness, good health and grand success. Happy Diwali 2020! May the millions of lamps of Diwali illuminate your life with happiness, joy, peace and health. Wish you and your family a very prosperous Diwali.

May This Divine Festival Color the Pages of Your Life With Peace, Joy And Happiness. Happy Diwali!
