Congratulations to Trocaire on their Golden Jubilee.

We, the Columban Sisters wish to congratulate Trocaire on their Golden Jubilee, a milestone anniversary.

Trócaire is the Irish language word for “Compassion”.

For almost 50 years Trócaire has put the compassion of Irish people into action and we have been part of that in our various missions, where people benefited towards a more just world for themselves and their communities through our presence in their midst as well as being supported by Trocaire and in our partnership with Trocaire.

We are indebted to Trocaire for their support and wish Caoimhe de Barra, CEO of Trocaire, and all the staff, abundant blessings on their Jubilee Year. As we have a long standing history with Trocaire we are grateful to Eamonn Meehan, the previous CEO, who walked the road with us for many years.

“When one flower blooms spring awakens everywhere”. John O’Donoghue.
