The Sisters, in the Philippines, remain committed to ministries serving the poor and the vulnerable. These include supporting extremely poor families, providing education and livelihood support for women, prison ministry, assistance and education for children with disabilities, and ongoing outreach to Indigenous Peoples. Also guided by the spirit of Laudato Si’, the Philippine Area supports environmental activities that care for creation and strengthen community solidarity. Through these ministries, the Philippine Area lives out its missionary calling, and all resources and funds are used in line with the specific purpose of each ministry.

Community of Hope

The Community of Hope provides educational opportunities for children with disabilities who are socially marginalised. The program offers scholarships, medical assistance, livelihood support, and builds community-based support systems to promote inclusion and dignity.

Pasay Cemetery Ministry

In 2025 the Pasay Cemetery Ministry supported 28 scholars and 11 families from elementary to university level. Assistance covered basic needs such as food, transportation, school supplies, uniforms, tuition, and academic activities. Faith formation, weekly Sunday programs, monthly human development workshops, summer camps, feeding programs, and seasonal activities were regularly provided, benefiting scholars, families, and the wider cemetery community.

  • Prison Ministry

The Prison Ministry supports the rehabilitation of inmates through livelihood programs, counselling, and accompaniment. This ministry is carried out in collaboration with lay partners, promoting dignity, healing, and hope for reintegration into society.

Women Livelihood Program

The Women Livelihood Program supports young mothers in remote mountain areas by teaching embroidery skills. The program provides livelihood opportunities, learning spaces, and emotional stability, helping women gain confidence and financial support for their families.

• Ecology Programs

Inspired by Laudato Si’, the Ecology Programs promote respect for creation through collaboration with local communities. These initiatives strengthen environmental awareness, community participation, and care for the common home.

Scholarship Program

The Scholarship Program supports students who lack access to education due to structural poverty. By providing financial and moral support, the program helps students complete their studies and build a foundation for responsible participation in society.
