Columban Sisters Newest Members Visited Mt. Leinster

The newest members of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of St. Columban, Sisters Lucy Doh and Maria Kim from Korea, visited Myshall, Co. Carlow to connect with the place where St. Columban lived, worked and prayed during his early manhood and where at the foothills of Mount Leinster tradition holds that he was born.

It was a windy day but that never stopped them from climbing the summit of the hill.

” Bless to me, O God, the earth beneath my foot, Bless to me, O God, the path

wherein I go; Bless to me , O God, the thing of my desire;

Thou evermore of evermore, bless thou to me my rest.”
