Christmas Greetings from the Columban Sisters.

Christmas Greetings to All, from the Columban Sisters.

Wishing all our Friends, Families, Benefactors and all the People with whom we work, a very blessed and Happy Christmas and New Year.

Sr. Susanna Choi, our Congregational Leader, Caretaker and Animator, shares a reflection from Caryll Houslander which gives the secret to the Flowering of our Lives and World as follows: “The way to begin healing the wounds of the world is to treasure the Infant Christ in us; to be not the castle but the cradle of Christ; and, in rocking that cradle to the rhythm of love, to swing the whole world back into the beat of the Music of Eternal Life. Christ asks for a home in your soul, where he can be at rest with you, where he can talk easily to you, where you and he, alone together, can laugh and be silent and be delighted with one another.”

Wishing each one of you a very blessed Christmas and New Year from all the Columban Sisters throughout the world and we pray that we will get a little space in the crib of your heart to ‘rock the cradle to the rhythm of love and swing the whole world back into the beat of the Music of eternal life’.  Let us remember the Homeless, Refugees at our doorsteps, the abandoned and all those who cannot return home….Jesus too was a refugee and Mary and Joseph had to flee for His protection….let all these people find a home in our hearts and our countries this Christmas.

Welcome!
