Brittas Bay Parish Choir Concert

– Proceeds in aid of The Community of Love, Ozamis City, Philippines

The Bobbio Retreat Centre, Magheramore, Wicklow, was the venue for a delightful musical evening organized by the Brittas Bay Parish Choir in conjunction with Newtown Cantori. A variety of songs by choir and solists combined with the varied tempo of the music was enjoyed by the enthusiastic audience.

An annual event, this year it was decided that the proceeds would go the Columban Sisters Community of Love Project, Ozamis City, Philippines. Sister Cecilia Quizon, Director of the Centre, gratefully accepted this gesture on behalf of all those who receive services at the Community of Love Centre.

To add to the enjoyment of the evening, there was a drawing for Prizes provided by the Choir members followed by very festive food – mulled wine and mince pies!
