The Celebration of Sr Brid Kenny’s Platinum Anniversary 
of Religious Profession followed soon after the Celebration of the 90th Anniversary of the Columban Sisters Foundation in Magheramore, Wicklow.
It was a very joyful day for Sister Brid and the many Columban Sisters present. Brid’s brother, Columban Father Paul Kenny, celebrated the Jubilee Mass assisted by Columban Fr Pat Donohoe, Chaplain, Magheramore. Brid, Fr Paul and Fr Pat had all been missioned in South Korea over many years.
Sister Bríd worked in the catering services at St. Columban’s College Dalgan Park, Navan before being assigned to South Korea in 1960 where she was a founding member of the Weaving Industry in Hallim, Cheju Island with Sisters Rosarii McTigue and Elizabeth Taaffe.
Sister Bríd also worked in various other ministries during her 44 years on mission in Korea. She returned to the Motherhouse at Magheramore, Wicklow in 2004 where she is still a very active member of the community. Ad Multos Annos, dear Brid.
