The last week of April and early May, 2009 saw celebrations of Golden Jubilees across the Congregation’s missions. Eight Sisters who had made first Profession on April 26, 1959, six in Boston Massachusetts, U.S.A. and two in Wicklow, Ireland, were back in their homelands for the Golden occasions. Sisters Regina Bernad, Laetitia Talanay, and Mercedes Ventenilla celebrated in the Philippines; Sisters Patricia Zandrews and Margaret Devine and Margaret Devlin in the United States while Sisters Julie Dowling and Brigid Kingston returned to the Motherhouse, Magheramore, Wicklow, for their celebration. |
