On May 31, 2003 Sister Catherine Courtney celebrated the 50th
anniversary of her Religious Profession in the
Columban
Sisters’ convent in Magheramore, Wicklow.
The Jubilee Mass was celebrated by Fr Pat Donoghue and the homily was
given by Sr. Patricia Sweeney. Members of Catherine’s family did the
Readings, carried up the gifts in the Offertory Procession and read the
Prayers of the Faithful. After Mass, Catherine’s family and friends
joined with the sisters in a special festive meal.
