Wondering what to do with Your life?

As we Columban Sisters prepare for our Congregation's 14th General Chapter to be held in Ireland 5 - 26 May 2011, we invite you to consider the question once asked of a young woman by Mary Oliver, the American poet:

'Tell me, what is it you plan
to do with your one wild and precious life'?

To become a Sister is to choose  a way of life.

This way of life influences every aspect of who you are as a person:

  • It involves your heart and to whom you want to give it

  • It involves all that you possess and how you will use it;

  • It involves your life and with whom you want to share it.
