Location:  The United States is situated between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans with Mexico to the South and Canada to the North.

Language:  English is the official language of the country. Many native North American languages are still spoken in the United States.  A large number speak Spanish or one of the several languages of the various immigrant groups. 

 
Economy:  The U.S. is a high-income economy.  It is the world’s greatest industrial producer with a highly diversified economy.
