Monsignor Luis Sebastian Aguirre, Archbishop of Ayacucho, Peru officiated at the Mass and blessing of the Columban Sisters' new mission in Vinchos, Ayacucho on February 18, 2004. He is seen here with members of the Columban community in Ayacucho: Sisters Anne Carbon (Philippines) Mary Nolan (Ireland), and Sofia Kim (Korea) who hope to be a healing presence among a people who have suffered more than twenty years of terrorist and military violence. |
