New Mission in Peru

Sisters Mary Nolan and Ann Carbon,  who had both been missioned in Peru for some years,   moved to Vinchos, Ayacucho in April, 2003  to start a new mission there.

Situated in a  mainly quechua speaking area in the centre of the Peru, Vinchos is a town that suffered much during the twenty years of violence (1980-2000).  The Sisters' involvement includes mental health care and counselling those who have suffered violence.
