Associates of the Columban Sisters in Hong Kong.

 

'Friends of St. Columban' is the name by which the Associates of the Columban Sisters in Hong Kong are known.   They meet every two months for prayer and  reflection in search of  ways to express their faith in the world of today.
Membership is open to Catholic lay men and women, married and single,  who feel called to share in the Columban expression of misssion.

They are accompanied by the Columban Sisters who facilitate their formation.

Projects undertaken by the friends of St. Columban in Hong Kong include:

  • reaching out to the marginalized in society.
  • concern for the church in China.
  • promoting care of the earth.
  • sensitivity to other cultures and religions.
  • collaboration with the Columban Sisters in their various ministries.
